I can’t download from Google drive and other sources like fireshot, nimbus capture, etc. And it seems that many people are experiencing the same thing. Does anyone have the solution to this prob? Thanks.Btw these are the addons that I use: https, ublock, hoxx vpn, privacy badger, video download helper. fireshot, and nimbus capture.
edit: The files I download from Gdrive comes out like this https://imgur.com/a/wbVnKPr
I’m having the same issue on the latest build of Firefox. I did a clean install of Windows 10 yesterday, downloaded Firefox, and logged into my google drive to download a file.
I keep getting this same message when I try to download a pdf or really any file:
“The page isn’t redirecting properly
An error occurred during a connection to doc-0k-64-docs.googleusercontent.com.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.”
Are you having that same message appear when you download a file from Google Drive too? No matter how much I search online, I keep getting the same responds to clean caches, cookies, try in private tab, reinstall firefox, try without plugins and nothing. I even reinstalled windows and I still can’t download from Google Drive.
Here’s the kicker though. My other Windows machines have firefox and can currently download from Google Drive no problem. If I use other browsers where I’m having issues with firefox, I can download from Google Drive no problem.
Idk what happening, but I have never had issues with Firefox ever since Vista, and it’s only now I’m having some weird issue with it.
I’m sorry if this seems long winded.
Try disabling plugins. It could be that. Try to see if you can download your stuff in a private tab.
Best of luck to you.
The symptoms you describe seems identical to this:

Are you perhaps logged into multiple Google accounts? It would seem that this person fixed this problem by logging out of all Google accounts and only logging into the one they needed.
For me, the file is downloaded but it looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/wbVnKPr
while from some other sites, the files aren’t even downloaded.
Interestingly, I just formatted my windows 10 about 2 months ago, and this prob happens.
I’m currently logging in to only one account
That’s strange. Yeah, I’m not even sure what’s going on anymore. Have you tried seeing if the file extensions are correct when you downloaded that file?
I hope the team at Firefox address this weird issue. I don’t want to switch browsers at all.
