Why are people saying the PS5 app doesn’t work all of a sudden?
Different people will have a different experience, it’s normal
Occasionally, mine says “oops something went wrong” for no reason. (It’s updated, internets fine)
It was broken for me for 2 days, I had to watch Vinland Saga on my PC like a peasant.
I am not able to use my crunchy roll app on PS5 I just keep getting the oops message or the cat in the box message
Sometimes crashes when it’s starting the next episode on my ps5. Just started doing that recently, probably from a ps5 update.
Crunchyroll has specifically not been working on my switch account, but if I switch to my brother’s it works fine. I realize it’s not PS5, but the apps are a little screwy and regularly crash for no reason. Not stopping me from binging whole seasons though.
Doesnt work at me…it did work before though, but maybe that last update did something…
Update: I did go to manage devices and deleted the ps5 there and then I re activated it with the code through the browser where you have to log in with your CR account. This fixed it for me!
Simple,because it doesn’t work for some people. Why make a video? Did you not believe that it wasn’t working for them? Was this video to prove that people were lying? Did you read somewhere people saying Crunchyroll didn’t work,so you made a video checking and found that it did work, then decided yo make a video and post it on Reddit that your Crunchyroll works so they must be lying? Once again, why make this video?
At least it worked for you. Xbox never worked. I bought a Chromecast just for CR. Funimation had no issues
You’d think their UI and apps would work better for being such a large part of anime streaming
For me personally the app is working the best it ever has right now, I understand how the others feel though because before the recent update the app wasn’t working for almost 2 months for me 
It probably has to do with VPN / router / PS5 dns settings.
If you changed yours to the same as whoever is complaining, I bet it won’t work.
That’s if everyone cleared the app, deleted it, reinstalled it and it still doesn’t work
I miss the funimation app I never had any issues crunchyroll is horrible
There’s something called “other people” and they tend to have another weird thing called “problems you don’t have”

Yesterday during the demon slayer launch my crunchyroll crashed on ps5 so I swapped to my smart tv web app and used Crunchyroll.com and watched the episode. Returned to the ps5 app and it worked seamlessly of course after the episode completed. Really hoping to see them Intergrate more for the console app… kinda sucks paying 14.99 a month and not getting premium service of the app
Idk I’ve literally never had an issue and I watch all the time on PS5. Roku is another story, shit barely functions on that.
