Which vpn is good for attack-box? (Location : India)

Guys, I got the THM sub and currently running on EU-vip-2 vpn config. My wifi is fine, but I am getting laggy experience when I ssh into the THM-Attack Box. So which do you think is best and gives smooth experience for the users in india?

Also, it would be awesome if the THM team can add Indian servers for attack-box and let us choose to run it from which server.

It’s also super slow and laggy for me as well from my location. Wish they could provide us the choice which area we could deploy the machines at, or at least the ability to download the room (task) machines as docker containers so we could run them locally

Why are you running a vpn on the online machine? Isn’t it connected to THM network directly?

The VPN is not used to access the attackbox, changing server isn’t going to help. Your best bet is going to be creating your own Kali VM and running the VPN there instead of using the attackbox.

I like PureVPN because it is not a mainstream company. They have a trial, so it’s actually a pretty sweet deal to see if it works for you.

The online one gives me more laggy experience due to servers being away from my country. So, I am ssh 'ng into attack box.

This will give you more lag. Ssh is not gonna be responsive as you might think.

The in-browser machine doesn’t even allow me to resize windows.(That kinda lag is there)

That makes no sense, you can have the in browser machine on its own window and you can resize that however you want.

You don’t get it…what I mean is “It is too laggy (latency issues, even though my network is good) to resize a window”.

Wait im confused. So are you using the browser based online machine or are you using your own machine with thm vpn config?

VPN for ssh from windows and also sometimes browser-based machine.

Okay, did you check the hops with traceroute to maby locate the problem in your slow connection. If its between you and your isp then a vpn does not change anything.
