Mostly being able to watch different countries Netflix libraries reliably. If you’re in a country where internet is filtered like China, Iran or UAE etc etc etc. it’s probably more useful. I pay for Witopia myself.
Have noticed it kills my speed sometimes; decent apart from that though.
Theres another one called expat shield, it injects ads whenever its on but its free and can be turned off. They have hotspot shield for US servers too
Yes it is… if you frequently access BBC and netflix better to get paid VPN service.
They have a silly little flash game right now where you can ‘win’ 40 days free premium service which includes a UK IP. Not bad for the time being.
I use the American one for Netflix, if that helps.
I have Netflix alright but am not a major user. Any idea if it can get around rights restrictions when using Sky Go on a PS4?
Is it restricted because you’re not watching it from the UK? There’s no option to use a VPN on a PS4 as far as I know. You could probably log into your router settings, enable VPN passthrough and configure it. That would mean all your internet traffic is going over the VPN though, not just Sky App on PS4.
Yeh it just blocks some channels and programming because I’m not in Britain. Ok, sound for that.
