No vpn. It is not recommended to use a vpn with tor if you live in a country where using tor is not illegal
For general purpose, use mullvad

To choose a VPN you should’ve select which has strictly no log policy, open source model, trustable, reputated, out of 14 eyes surveillance & keep their transparency.
The only VPNs that passed all the mark are ProtonVPN, IVPN & Mullvud. (Eventhough Mullvud is from one of the 14 eyes. But they are at least trustable)
I prefer ProtonVPN. It has both free & paid services. And works well.

Why would you use a vpn with tor?
If you use a vpn with tor your ISP won’t even know that your using tor. They will if you don’t.

Bridges don’t hide Tor activity, they just circumvent. But Domain Fronting Bridges do hide it. But from the Govt. side if they run DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) you’ll get caught using Tor. So; a trusted, no log, out of 14 eyes surveillance, under strong privacy laws VPN is the best bet.

I live inna banned refion, the uae. I want to explore the dark web just for fun and see some nice dool sites in person, but not do anything malicous with it. Thats why im asking this.
