Hey guys, you probably get this question a lot, but could you please tell me what are the best/fast vpns on the market right now? top 3 at least? thanks.
I have tried some of the services often mentioned here (IVPN, PIA, Mullvad, IPredator, BlackVPN etc.). And they are all really fast. You won’t max out your speed (encryption takes a little time, you ping gets a little higher), but you probably won’t realize the difference when browsing, streaming or torrenting. Some connections might even get faster because your ISP can’t shape your traffic anymore.
The only thing you won’t want to use a VPN for is gaming. Your ping will be worse and there is no good reason to turn on the VPN.
- PIA The best recommended on this sub-reddit
- PureVPN
- ExpressVPN
get a VPN via PGP encryption. Take a look at https://kript.me/ It was originated in Scotland, has good speed and easy to use.
How did you find PIA? would you recommend them? also did you try ibvpn?
Due to poor routing policies on some ISPs’ part, using a VPN for gaming can often be of great benefit actually (provided you take some time to tune the pipping).
A 25%+ reduction is hardly noticeable?
Not sure what your intent is op, but IVPN doesn’t look like it’s for piracy purposes.
I liked PIA. They have a nice custom Windows client and a lot of servers all around the world. Especially if I lived in the US they would be my first choice (For non-sensitive use. If you want to be the next Snowden, they could end up like Lavabit.).
Oh, I didn’t know that. I never had problems with my ISP and the VPN just doubled my ping, so it didn’t make any sense for me.
There is no such thing as a VPN for piracy purposes unless they want the FBI to visit their offices.
My intent is basically browsing/downloading/streaming/gaming over VPN. So i need a fast vpn that is actually good.
P.S: i heard Earthvpn, Vpn.ac and ibvpn are good for that? is that true?
So it’s fair to say that PIA is one of the best that you have used? the only gripe i see about them, is basically that they don’t have any Asian servers.
If you only browse, surely you’re paying for a much faster connection than you need?
Hmm, I just made my assumption based off the statement on their page “privacy, not piracy.”
If you’re not doing anything illegal, find a VPS provider you ping well to and setup openVPN.
I’m not sure what the fastest ones are, sorry man! I use mine for other purposes than playing games x)
Yes, they are one of the best. And they have a small server in Hong Kong as far as I know.
