What are the VPN options for me? Something reasonable and effective, please

Hello, I am from India at the moment. Was planning to purchase a VPN service. So my requirements are:

  1. Able to access my Indian Netflix/ Disney_Hotstar/ Sony LIV account content in European countries.

  2. Possible to do some torrent downloads? (say some old/new movies in Germany if at all possible/legal)

  3. Surf the internet and get some important stuff/files (for example go and download some research paper publications for free as an anonymous user)

I am aware of the famous VPNs like Nord, Express etc but really want to know more about it if someone from this community has actually used it for the above similar purposes without any issues/litigations.

P.S. Sorry if I sound childish, a total nerd in the modern internet community.
