I’m using a fibre service which is relatively new in the area, I keep getting hints that there’s some sort of VPN enabled but I’m unable to understand it, my concern doesn’t make much sense but I was trying to sign up to spotify a few days ago and it won’t let me do it and it kept saying your internet provider is restricted or there is a VPN enabled, I managed to do it on the same wifi through my phone’s browser, now out of nowhere very random websites will just come up with a pop up saying your VPN is restricted from accessing this website and I’m starting to suspect if something sketchy is going on here and my home wifi isn’t secure anymore. I’d have mentioned what service I’m using but since it’s a relatively new local provider (not at all a small scale provider though) I don’t want to give too much away, but I guess my main concern is whether I am at a security risk of some sort? Is it a possibility the security is somehow compromised from what I mentioned?
I’ve never used a VPN on sone of these devices the mentioned issues popped up in.

Its quite possible the IPs they got were at one point used for vpn services, or still are - and sites have black listed them, etc.
I would go to one of the many whats my ip site - simple google for whats my IP will show your IP, etc. And then look up this IP to see if listed as being a vpn service provider or on any black lists…
Here is a simple check for example
