Hello everyone my TV won’t let me run shurfshark in the background so I was thinking
If I run the VPN on my phone turn on the hotspot then connect my TV to my hotspot

No, at least on android the hotspot traffic isn’t sent via the VPN. For it to work you would need a rooted Android and a VPN app that supports rooting. Another alternative is to run a proxy server on the phone, and use the proxy on the TV if that’s possible.
