VPN sharing on Windows 10 does not work

Hello,

I’ve subscribed to NordVPN, but it does not seem to work. I followed every tutorial to set NordVPN to share my internet connection. However, every time I connect to the shared network whether via mobile or another computer, I get “No internet”. I desactivated the firewall on my machine I am sharing the VPN with, no success.

I started to suspect that my current drivers do no support network sharing:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>netsh wlan show drivers

Type : Native Wi-Fi Driver

Radio types supported : 802.11b 802.11g 802.11n 802.11a 802.11ac

FIPS 140-2 mode supported : Yes

802.11w Management Frame Protection supported : Yes

Hosted network supported : No // !

Honestly I am bit disappointed I feel like I wasted my money and I am thinking of cancelling my subscription. What can I do to get NordVPN to work when I share my internet?

Have you tried contacting support? Maybe there is something you are missing.

I cannot install NordVPN on my machine of interest. This is why I’m trying to share the protected connection from my personal laptop using a mobile hotspot.

I need it functional this Monday. I truly doubt they will provide me with a fix before Monday. Anyway, I decided it is not worth it; cancelled my subscription.
