I wouldnât trust anything made by McAfee let alone a VPN that funnels all of your web traffic through their servers. Theyâre just collecting data about you and selling it to advertisers or itâs being used by the private equity firms that own them.
My only reason for a VPN is to avoid getting booted offline, or getting my approx location leaked by a 12 year old who canât handle being beat on a video game.
Turn off all those and turn off private relay on your home network. You can do that by switching off Limit IP Address tracking on that specific WiFi network.
Yeah Safari has good built-in tracking protection that will do 90% of the job. And you can always look up Private Relayâs details and decide for yourself if you think you really need it instead of just taking my word for it.
