Hi, we plan to fix this with the upcoming updates and we appreciate your effort so far. In the meantime, there are several workarounds our users mentioned under this post such as stopping Surfshark in Task manager instead of uninstalling - you might find them more convenient.

Hi, we’d be happy to investigate this issue for you, could you send us a diagnostics report?

Once you do this, please reach out to us at [email protected] or via live chat on our website.

Thank you for offering alternatives, the people telling me to uninstall and reinstall where the help people at surf shark. Perhaps this message could be also shared with them.

This response is the opposite of what it appears to be. I have gone through the help cycle so many times over several months that I have proven beyond doubt that it is pointless. Even on here someone from surf shark came on to suggest a fix that was named up higher as though it would definitely work. It seemed ridiculous, and it was. The help desk just keeps people circulating, it does not fix the issue. It just gets the user to do a bunch of useless and time consuming activities with absolutely no change.
The things that have been tried are not resulting in new solutions or appropriate updates to the software. If nothing changes when mine comes up for renewal, I will definitely be switching.

I’m sorry to hear that, we’re trying resolve this bug, but from what I know, it’s hard to reproduce on our side. Therefore, diagnostics reports and forwarding them to our developers through the support team is the best way for us to investigate the problem.
