NordVPN was my go to but VPN doesn’t work on internet ISP routerwise, so would be mobile.
Currently just safari with duckduckgo search.
Pw manager i like 1Password.
Mail protonmail for bit trash.
Mail hotmail gaming
Mail gmail all locked up weird name etc, youtube webshops for 1 time purchase.
For VPN, I would recommend looking into providers like Mullvad or NiceVPS VPN; I judge all providers I use primarily on their privacy policy, the data they collect, etc.
Do they use third party tracking on their app or website such as Google Analytics?
Are they honest in their advertising?
Do they make any unfounded marketing claims or straight up lies like claiming a VPN would singlehandedly make you anonymous or hide your data from advertisers? Do they promote their VPN as tge solution for everything?
Are they overall transparent?
Do they have a clear privacy policy?
Do they publish transparency reports?
Do they have any audits of their system and are they published?
Are their clients open source?
Are they in a good jurisdiction (e.g. not in the US)
I have confronted some of these VPNs with the trackers, was funny, kept asking my account to help me, while my literal question was why do y have these trackers.
NordVPN also didn’t say who used my ID to order subscription is that even legal. They said privacy blabla.
