I use the MulVad browser as a default browser and it is configured to use the private mode permanently. As long as I am not connected to my Google account and use VPN, can this weaken my privacy using Google as a standard search engine?
Google is still going to create a profile on you and track your usage. All signing in does is allow you to use all the features. You don’t need to be signed in to be tracked,
If you really need google, use whoggle. But you should gradually move away from all goggle services
You have a lot of alternative search engine. Just try Qwant, DuckDuckGo, brave, the one from Murena ? I use Qwant all day, I always found what I need.
If you want Google filtered search results why not use startpage ?
Google is still tracking you whether logged in or not
We created the Mullvad browser for specific reasons like yours, although privacy-focused VPNs like proton/Mullvad offer decent benefits throttle ISP and residential IP-based regional tracking, their users mainly scatter around 8 types of browsers: chrome/chrome with add-on/ungoogle chromium/Firefox/Firefox with add-on/Firefox with arkenfox/safari/brave that make user-specific fingerprinting extremely easy and no major aggregation “the only footprint” aka one for you and me everyone looks the same. Especially when using a browser with add-on installed, make each user more unique, even with arkenfox.
By directing users to the Mullvad browser, it creates the same fingerprint for every user, whether you’re using a residential IP address, Mullvad, Proton, or other sketchy VPNs, you all look same to data brokers. But remember to type in the URL bar instead of Google’s website so they don’t have your typing rhythms. And of course, as you mentioned earlier, don’t log in. I have too many horror stories that I introduce tor to journalists and the first thing they do is log into Gmail, even though we specifically teach them not to.
Again, if you want maximum achievable anonymity, tor is the best option, but it’s not easy as a generic usage everyday driver browser.
Well google still records all the searches.

Qwant is not available in my country. DuckDuckgo and Brave do not return results as good as Google.
Why the results are not as good as Google

Do you really hope that you will have the same quality? You certainly shouldn’t expect that. Google is the leader it will always do better than everyone else. If you want privacy, you have to know how to make concessions.
Thanks, so how can I use my Google services privately?? I only have youtube as a concern
Thanks, I’m testing!
