Trust mullvad vpn from AUR

Hi there,

can I trust the mullvad-vpn from the AUR? It has some comments and 136 votes. It would be pointless to use a vpn if I can’t trust it.

The AUR is community maintained, so there’s no guarantee that you can trust it. Read the PKGBUILD. If you see nothing suspicious, then you can trust it

you can download wireguard configs from the site and import them directly into network settings on linux without downloading any app just as an FYI

I would say “if you found something suspicious - do not trust it”

+1 I recommend this course of action, and what I do for wireguard. And, especially since OP is wary of an app. Good day
