This also means that western players that wanna check out the game AFTER the open beta can very easily connect and create their own account through a SEA VPN, no need more a Korean SSN!

I just installed Purple and I’m wondering what Region to choose. It says 19 regions should be available, but upon selecting the drop down, I only see Global/Taiwan/Japan. Which should I choose if I’m in the Philippines?
I don’t wanna mess this up because it says:
Only users must select a region where the service is available during the sign-up stage to be able to play the game, and the selected region cannot be changed later.

Interesting, will they open new servers or do east-euro and mid-east gamers have to play on KR server?
I confirm that you cannot play outside of those countries that are allowed, I am from the US and I have registered several new accounts to try to play and in ALL of them it asks for a phone number from that country to be able to register.
You can download the game, but you will not be able to play it without a phone number from those countries.
So I would change the information in the post, this game CANNOT be played in Amazon countries, you still need to buy an account and VPN.
are there any new servers for the SEA players? Or is NC Soft asking new players to join the current KR servers?

They must be getting desperate for players, finally decided to let SEA in.
I chose Global, I’m assuming it’s gonna be a region to choose in-game.
If not, I would assume the reason Taiwan and Japan are separate is because they want to be separate (Taiwan having CN players, and Japan liking to be exclusive like KR).
I registered fine from England with my normal gmail account, I just said I was from Ukraine. When it asked for a phone number I just changed the drop down to UK and used my number which worked fine. I do still have to use a VPN to Ukraine though or it just kicks me out.
Bro when they ask for ur number, u know u can change the no. Code ID of a country rite?
You can put your phone number from the US, no matter where you make the account from (I think Kr is the only one that’s restricted for that). I made a Hong Kong account for example and just used my Canadian number. The only caveat is that you need a VPN to start the game.
Just started playing, and it seems to be that it’s the KR servers opening to the public.
In Amazon Games, the term “Global” only means America and Europe.
