SOLVED: Meraki VPN windows 10 client changing to general method and not connecting

We ran into a problem with the vpn not connecting and the credentials not saving everytime we tried connecting. The fix was to go into device manager > remove all WAN drivers > Scan for changes and let the software reinstall them. Confirmed the vpn connected after and the user was up and running again.

Was trying to figure out how to download it without registering with cisco. I wish they’d include the download when you purchase a Meraki router.

They do. If you enable AnyConnect on an MX device, it will provide you with a download link for the client.

Sweet thanks! I will look into this.

Our Meraki dealer told us no additional licenses were needed.

It’s currently honor system. At some point there may be enforcement, but they are required. This is bad advice.

I never had to accept terms that I had to buy licenses. I’ve had AnyConnect on since the first beta had it.
