Setting up a VPN

Howdy,

Whenever I use one of my Windows computers I like the added security of a VPN. My VPN of choice is Cyberghost. I’ve got the required account access and I’ve downloaded the necessary files, however, I’m having trouble connecting. I’ve tried various small changes at a time but nothing allows me to connect the VPN. My foremost question is about the private certificate password. Is that my user password for Cyberghost or my computer account? After the VPN is saved and I try to connect it asks for the authentication password. I’ve tried the VPN password provided with the configuration data for the VPN server; the password for my cyberghost account; and the password for my computer. Currently I have fedora 26 on my SP3 and kernel 4.11.10. I’ve even looked up how to make a firewall exception for openvpn and still no dice. Any advice out there?

Disregard. I moved the .crt files to a newly created .cert folder in the home folder and it’s working just fine now
