Seeking Assistance: Acquiring Steam Deck in Brazil from a Trusted Source

A close friend residing in Sugar Land, Texas, will soon be delivering my long-awaited Steam Deck from the United States to Brazil. However, as Valve does not directly sell their products in our region, I find myself encountering difficulties in locating a reputable online or physical retailer offering the 512GB OLED model.

Despite my efforts, my IP location prevents me from accessing certain stores, including Valve’s official site and Best Buy somehow even under VPN. Upon searching Amazon, I have been unable to find the desired model in stock. So, I am turning to this community for advice on credible alternatives within the US market. If anyone could kindly suggest reliable sources or provide insights on where to procure the 512GB OLED model, it would be immensely appreciated.

Ensuring the legitimacy and reliability of the seller is necessary and from my pov its hard to understand what store is trustworthy.

Thank you in advance for any assistance or guidance you can offer.

I have only a couple days to be able to use this chance unfortunately.

you buy it directly off steam

Give your friend in TX your Steam credentials, and ask them to kindly also buy it for you, using their local address. problem solved.
Its how i got mine, from Barbados.

The only official seller in the US is Valve. Do not buy anywhere else unless you understand the risks.

VPN

Make sure that your browser cookies are cleared or you use a private browser window after enabling VPN before visiting the Steam website. Else Valve will notice that your browser suddenly is in a new region and infer that you use VPN.

Also do not use free VPNs, Valve can detect those. Use (the free trial of) a premium VPN.

If you create a new Steam account then be aware that you need a local payment nethod. Steam gift cards will work. Also note that the Steam Deck should not be the first item that you buy. Valve is known to cancel transactions of people who bought nothing else. Buy some $0.99 game first to verify that payment works.
