Route Via VPN Terribly Inconsistent

The route via VPN feature is sooo inconsistent. Sometimes it works flawlessly (for a few hours until it stops), other time it routes everything (even apps I don’t want to route), and other times it stops apps that aren’t being routed from connecting at all. I’ve tried reinstalls, DNS changes, turning on/off No Borders, and switching protocols. It’s still more often broken than not. Is there a way to force routing from windows settings or a third-party app that would hide unrouted traffic from the VPN, or is the built-in split-tunneling the only option? I’ve contacted support to no avail.

Hi there. I’m sorry to hear you are having issues with the Bypasser feature. While such issues can usually be resolved with a few simple steps, it seems like this case specifically would require a bit more investigation.

If you have already tried reaching out to our customer support team at [email protected] or via live-chat on our website and they could not figure out a solution, I would appreciate it if you could contact us directly at [email protected] so we can take another look at what can be done here.

Fact. I have turned the protection on 3 days ago. The longest uptime reported by the app is 10 hours. Right now it is reporting only 5 hours of protection uptime after turning it on 3 days ago.!
#THIS APP TURNS ITSELF ON AND OFF AT WILL.

Honestly the behavior of this app that we are expected to accept as normal is brutal. It quietly quits and does not tell you. It turns itself on and off without telling you and after turning it on 3 days ago the longest uptime it has reported is 10 hours out of 3 days. Right now its reporting 6 hours of ''protected ‘’ connected time. I have not turned my computer off or restarted and I have not shut down the application at all…so it means in the 4 day span…it has turned itself OFF and ON at its own volition…and out of 4 days it has logged 6 hours of up time Nice…I’m not paying for this. 26 days from now i am cancelling the card details and removing this application.

Hello. Surfshark is made to be able to always run in the background, so the VPN disconnecting on its own without your interference might indicate some connectivity issues. It would be great if you could reach out to us at [email protected] so we can investigate what could be causing this and what can be done to resolve it.

able to run in the background

This is a primary function, this is a FIRST STEP. I have contacted your team and they have requested various information while providing little in terms of explanation or technical resolution. 4 days of using the Sufshark application 6 hours shown of connected and protected time. You tell me who or what is turning this APP on or off.
