I’m able to setup a Turkish Netflix account. Once the 30 day geo block is up, if I wanted to use this in the USA, will I always have to use a vpn via turkey, or would Netflix recognize my home location as being in the USA and be ok with this (even though it’s a Turkish account) and therefore I wouldn’t need to use a vpn?
Thanks.
No more need of the VPN after the first 30 days of geo block, just regular login and watch
No. After 30 days you are free to use it without VPN. I live in Turkiye and I am using VPN to connect Netherlands or Los Angles and still Netflix is okay with it. Also for Tubi , Google TV and Roku Channels.
Im here for the answers. I would like to know this too
Any guides on how to do this? Thanks
Anyone considering Gamsgo - forget it. Hundreds of peeps have had their accounts nuked in the last month and Gamsgo cant replace these anymore, despite what they say.
Hello,
According to what I’ve read to avoid your Netflix account being blocked:
-
The Netflix account must be registered in the same country, for example, Netflix Turkey in Turkey, Netflix Nigeria in Nigeria, and so on.
-
After receiving the account, you must use a VPN connected to the same country where the account was created for at least six months to avoid Netflix detecting the difference in IP addresses.
Gamsgo also doesnt help if you’re looking for a full youtube family subscriptions (where you get all 6 family member slots) as far as I know. Yes, it may be a lot easier than having to figure out all the VPN and billing issues (the latter is by far the tougher part), but once done, you’re in full control and there’s no need for a middleman.
I think there is something to this. I successfully set up a Nigerian netflix account about 2 weeks ago. Worked perfectly in a number of countries with no vpn. Once setup, I chose to pay with a different payment method that is local to me. I’m not sure if this payment method change had an impact or not, but I got a notice today that they were refunding my payment and I was instantly cut off (I’ve had it about 2 weeks). I was able to reregister and have kept it with the Nigerian payment method. We’ll see how long it lasts. Will be a pain if I have to use a vpn for several months.
Dont use gamsgo as alot of their acc have been deleted and they are not sure themselves how long an acc will work if they provide replacement or even if they will provide one as they keep asking customers to switch to another services apart from Netflix.
- In the first step of registering on Netflix, when entering the email and password, Netflix does not accept the use of a VPN (let’s assume your location is Sweden). After the email and password are accepted, you can turn on the VPN (changing your location to Turkey, for example) to get a lower price compared to Netflix’s price in your country. However, due to the difference in locations (initial login from Sweden and Netflix Turkey’s subscription price), you may be banned from the system for one week to three months.
The best way is to contact someone living in Turkey or Nigeria to create a Netflix account for you.

After receiving the account, you should use a VPN connected to the same country where the account was created for at least six months to avoid Netflix detecting a difference in IP address. The best VPN apps are ExpressVPN and NordVPN.

For renewing the account subscription: Never add a credit card to the account. Instead, use Netflix gift cards or get help from someone in that country to renew the account subscription.
Currently, I am trying this method, and I will write about my experience if it succeeds or fails.
Netflix hasn’t blocked all vpns. Just don’t use the most common ones. I setup turkey recently and this was not my experience…it just comes down to which vpn you use and making sure Netflix hasn’t blocked them.
Can you tell me the vpn name?
I’ll dm you. Don’t need them patching this.
