I saw a post here about how expensive star coins are for americans(I’m also american)(unfortunately). but I saw comments saying that prices were cheaper in other countries. I don’t currently have a VPN which can change my location, so I can’t check, but I got really curious. so here are a few questions:

if you change your location with a VPN, would it make the price match the price of the country which you’ve set yourself in? or would it remain the same?

if the price does not change, is there any other way to achieve a lower price via other countries besides moving to said other countries?

if somehow possible, would this get your account banned?
I’m asking purely hypothetically, because in all honesty, this isn’t a game I’d consider worth spending my money on. but I got curious. if nobody has an answer I might find a VPN with a free trial and check it out myself.
pretty sure prices are based on the region you were in at the time of account creation regardless of your current location. so you would have to use a vpn to make a new account in another region. i did this to make a uk account but honestly the conversion rate has been quite bad for several years and it really didn’t end up being worth it
It probably wouldn’t work because your acc is in your country and vpn can’t change anything about that.
Btw 50$ for 2000 sc is INSANE, for me in Poland it’s 15$
I have two accounts, one of them in another country created by VPN.
The price of SR/SC always match the price of the country the account is based in, even after I changed the VPN-location back to my home country. (In my case my alt account is in a more expensive region)
So having your VPN set to Poland for example while your account is based in the US will always give you US prices. So there is no way to get cheaper SC on an account that is already established as far as I know.
it is possible to change the region to see other prices but it is not easy.
i haven’t done it yet because im not sure if it is legal but technically if i were in another country i would see these prices aswell and could buy the sc „legally“ but idk if sso sees it the same way.
I don’t think every Polish person thinks 15 dollars is that cheap. It’s based on the average wealth of the specific country, I think.
I know! who in their right mind thought that was an okay price? honestly they’d probably get more money if they halved the price since more people would be able to buy (though $25 for 2 pixel horses is still insane imo, but during double starcoins it would be reasonable).
in my opinion they either need to lower prices, or increase the weekly allowance. there’s so reason it should take me 2 and a half months to buy 1 horse.
Im saying that in comparison of 50$ in America, countries such as Poland are much cheaper, not that it’s cheap in general
