Pure VPN client setup blocking Torrents to start

*SOLVED* although Purevpn allows p2p it is not on all servers. Go to manual configurations on your dashboard and filter for P2P servers list. Currently, there are no USA P2P servers.

I’ve been running PFsense for a while and torrents have been able to initiate and start downloading even without a port being forwarded to it. I have also run a pure VPN client on windows and have also been able to initiate and download torrents. However, I have followed this guide: https://support.purevpn.com/pfsense-openvpn-configuration-guide

and I set up my purevpn client on PFsense and so far anything that has an online interface works except torrents, it doesn’t even populate what files contain the torrent link I’m trying to download. Strangely enough, if I start the torrent on another network, close everything, and start it back up under my PFsense network, it continues to download with no issues. I haven’t seen an issue like this anywhere have looked at the client setup on PFsense and probably due to my lack of experience on this I don’t see any settings that might cause this. Any ideas?

If your goal is to slightly obscure your torrenting from your isp and/or government, you want a vpn client on the machine running a torrent client, not to involve pfsense in this.

Meaning there’s no way to fix this behavior?
