Proton extension with Secure Core (via Iceland, Switzerland and Sweden to USA) stops loading websites after ~5 minutes. It works fine initially, but websites just don't load whatsoever afterwards

I have 1gb high-speed internet with ethernet. I figured that would be enough to handle 2 lines of VPN defense. i tried each country; Iceland was the fastest initially, but all 3 eventually stopped around the 5min mark.
