Problem with installation of Cyberghost!

Hi guys,

At the moment i never had any problems with Cyberghost for years. Today it stopped working. Everytime time i tried to open it it closed it by itself. So my solution was to reinstall, but now i’m getting this problem in the picture. I hope you guys can help me with this problem.


Update: I got the offline files of Cyberghost trough their customer service. I’m cappable going into the application, but once i’m in it takes seconds for it to close automaticly.

I have had this problem as well. If you are in a restricted country where they block VPN websites and connections, Cyberghost will behave like that.

The workaround to this is that you enable other VPN and turn that other VPN on, for Cyberghost for Windows, to be able to download initial setup files.

I am on macOS 12.4 (latest) and I can confirm that my CyberGhost app was running smooth on the previous build (macOS 12.3) but now I have the same problem. The app won’t launch anymore.

Test with Windscribe VPN and after you connect to Windscribe, then try to open the installation file of Cyberghost.

I tried it and still didn’t work. I also reached out to customer service of Cyberghost and today they gave me the offline files. So all in all i was in Cyberghost, but now it closes the application on it self.

If I, were you, I would ask them for a refund and would then buy ProtonVPN or EXpressVPN.

In my own experience, which I also paid and forgot to ask refund within the duration of refund policy, using Cyberghost was a hassle.

Did you end up getting a fix for the issue? I am experiencing the exact same thing atm :confused:

In the end i think via a windows update it fixed itself it took a couple of months and i gave up on it. Just one day i thought let me try it again and it fully installed it and it works.
