Pop up translation on YouTube closed captioning is very useful
For those that are interested, there are extensions that show subtitles in multiple languages for Netflix:

- NflxMultiSubs (Note: due to a Netflix API change the original extension was discontinued, but someone else has updated it. See this thread for details.
Wish I knew this earlier. Zhongwen extension on Chrome browser.
After some more searching, sadly, there are few videos with close captioning in Chinese that work with Zhongwen. Sorry, just got lucky with this one.

I got rid of that browser extension because i suspected it to be the culprit for that browser redirect virus (where it converts all your google searches to bing searches). Do y’all have that issue? if not, I’ll probably reinstall

Do you know of a way to search for all the YouTube videos that have closed captioning in Chinese? I’ve wanted these for a while but it’s difficult to find them.
So it’s legal if you use the official VPN from PRC’s national telecom organization?
I think there is no easy way to get an official VPN. You can search in baidu with key word “VPN”, you cant find a website to buy such an official VPN for individual.
Probably yes because chances are you’ll still be blocked from the rest of the world.
