exactly opera android is fatally messed up I’m using the old beta v 64 now and made sure to never update it.becaude the normal android opera is unusable on note 9

mobile mode I have no clue what any of this means as I say I’m not a tech guy just gutted that ebay uk will not isplay in full desktop mode or pass cloudflare .but if I use an older version all is good
after checking this 3 times. it works on the website without any extensions or User agents. Everything is default. You just have to pass it once this S***gate.
Okay. I’m thinking it’s either specifically blocking you based on that desktop mode user agent or it’s detecting (or has detected) that you’re switching user agents (when going from mobile to desktop), which makes you look like a bot.
I would ask in r/CloudFlare to see what can be done about it. From what I’ve read, you have to report the issue to the site that’s using Cloudflare so the site can fix it in their Cloudflare rules.
Is it with every site that uses Cloudflare or just specific ones? Either way, what’s a link to one site for example?
You can file a bug report for Opera Android at https://opera.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/33 and post the bug number here. No guarantees Opera can do anything about it though.
you are using a pc?the issue I’m getting is with the galaxy Note 9 and the android opera browser as I said I’m going to wave the white flag and use opera beta as it still works is a really old version
for me the only way I can get passed cloudflare verification using opera new version with Samsung Galaxy Note 9 using android 9 ,yes I like this old version on android lol
is I go to settings/appearance/accessibility/user agent and change it to mobile,then close opera browser, then open the browser and make sure the large toggle on the start page is set to mobile,then I can bypass the authentication bullshit from cloudflare,once I passed cloudflares bullshit,then I need to go back.into the accessibility setting in opera and put it back to desktop mode and then flick the switch in the start page setting to desktop mode.
This is a headache because as soon as I come across another cloudflare pos I have to change everything back to mobile mode,im just going to downgrade opera or use the old skool beta or any other browser as they all work apart from the latest few versions of opera
And I’m using ebay alot so ebay wont work correctly on this new version of opera, so I’m calling it quits and going to give up on opera ever fixing this
it’s with every cloudflare site I think ,to pass the security you need to toggle the browser into mobile mode.but as soon as you toggle back to desktop the cloudflare page comes upand you cannot pass sequrity.ive checked my phone there is no mallwhere or virus, phone is clean as a whistle and it’s only on the latest few versions of opera.the old versions work great with Ebay uk and cloudflare sites.ive reported it to opera 2 weeks ago but they dont care they would never reply ,I even posted on the opera forum and go no replys or views it’s dead over there.its not specific to me because I can just use another browser or opera beta or downgrade opera and everything will work again.i. scared to uninstall opera and reinstall the old version as I’m worried I’ll lose my bookmarks, speeddials and saved pages.the browser is synced and I’m logged in but not sure if I’m supposed to log out and stop syncing before uninstalling opera
I also just found this other people with same issue that’s is fixed by swapping over to desktop or mobile to pass cloudflare.such an annoying issue haveing to use switch over or use another browser if a cloudflare site comes up

Better just to get rid off that version of browser and install something similar to it with low RAM consumption on Chromium. I can bypass it hardly on PC. On the phone just installed to test the latest opera from playmarket. I dont see any problems there.
It’s just works. On pc and some mobile versions, opera is a pain in the a**. There is no other way to fix it. Just deal with it. and dont waste your time. maybe “SoMeDAy” they will fix it on android <10 and pc.
Faster, better and easier is just to use another browser.

cheers bro ,the ebay thing is definitely to do with the user agent modes on this latest opera android update and the previous one,as I said ebay displays correctly on downgrade opera or beta or any other browser I use.did you see the link I posted of other people same issues
Only 1 way:
Install opera on pc, login into 1 account and sync data from the phone to your account, you will get them on pc with the next sync.
Only on PC you can save bookmarks. And after reinstall opera and again sync data to import.
Welp, about import I’m not 100% sure. But you will have them in your acc and on pc as exported file.

I dont have a pc mate ,my opera account is syncing correctly so can i just uninstall the opera app,or do I need to sign out of my opera account before I uninstall?and when I install the old version and sign in and sync my account will all my speed dials and bookmarks and saved pages come back?I’ve never even knew there was opera on pc lol thought it was just an android browser

You have to be careful with your device in sync account, and check what type of sync is enabled.
50/50. Speed Dials are not guaranteed.
But with pc MAYBE, COULD BE, POSSIBLY you can sync them.
