hi everyone. i am having trouble opening my game. i updated right after turning on my pc today, and now my game won’t open. i keep getting this error message from my security. does anyone know why i’m receiving this or how to fix it? TYIA!!
Honestly just uninstall Norton. Windows defender is better

It’s a false positive the game is trying to delete or modify a file in a folder Norton is protecting. You need to set an exception in Norton for the sims so it doesn’t do that.
Norton is horrible for security, but with that said. What does it say when you click on view details?
Click on view details, then it takes you to a screen with a load of stuff on it. I didn’t understand any of it but there is an option that says something like ‘make exception for process’. Don’t click the one that says store or log. That should sort it 
Exactly, Norton has terrible security anyways. Windows and McAfee are better options.
Id even stay away from McAfee tbh. If you’re paying for an AV you’re being scammed
Yeah I agree, I never used the Antivirus one but I’ve used Total Security Protection and didn’t have any issues. I would recommend Windows security more because it’s easier than McAfee though.
