Hi,
I decided on two years of Proton Unlimited .
I have used AirVPN for 3 years, so I can give comparisons.
- In terms of connection stability on Windows, both products are excellent
- Proton VPN just blew me away with the android app. The connection lasts for weeks without interruption. The battery on the mobile phone, when it comes from 100% to 10%, Proton VPN only uses 1% of the battery. Perfectly.
- AirVPN has a spartan android app that they are slowly developing. I use it only when necessary. It consumes a lot of battery.
- AirVPN has less crowded servers. But the Proton works at full speed smoothly and stably, although I see occupancy at 85%.
- Both have a kill switch, but the Proton has a permanent kill switch. That’s a great thing for me.
- Netshield is proven to be excellent in filtering
- A big advantage of AirVPN is the price. The best price on the market. There are always big discounts for Christmas, Black Friday and days like this. That’s why I had the service for so many years. A quality VPN, and an affordable one… that’s AirVPN
- I was drawn to the Unlimited package. A new Proton Drive is being developed and that is a big plus. I saw the roadmap. Go ahead guys
- Proton is an example of that statement… better quality, not quantity
- Proton is huge and has fast support… I miss what AirVPN has… a small community that hosts help on the forum. Home atmosphere where you feel the community
- I repeat once again… the android app is brutally good, windows is great and I want you to keep it up
- Finally, I have a question… do you check packet loss sometime… what are your numbers in the tunnel… in my case about 1%. Is this normal for a VPN?
I’m really interested… let the users try to set the slider to 180 seconds.

A big greeting from me and Proton has my support!
