""Never buy "LetsVPN" no matter what. Look for a better VPN.""

I’m using a translator.

The meaning may not be conveyed correctly. I apologize.

I bought a year’s worth of Letsvpn just before I went to China from Korea.

I found a vpn while looking for it,
so I had no choice but to leave it on all the time in China.
Games, broadcasting, and surfing the web. I had no choice but to use a vpn for everything

Exactly 30 days later and 335 days left they blocked me. Reason?

[The system has detected abnormal operations of your device, and the membership cannot be purchased temporarily. Please contact Online Support.]

WTF?

I urgently turned on another VPN and tried to put an inquiry on their site.

But they didn’t answer after a hour or two.

when I barely answered.

I’ve come to close that they’re more stupid than I imagined.

"We are very sorry. We found that your device was detected by the AI system as a device with abnormal behavior. The detected device cannot use our service:sob::sob:. Please provide the purchase record. We will refund you for the remaining time (Please wait for a while after you provided the record, and I will calculate the refund amount then confirm with you). We apologize again for the inconvenience caused to you. "

…??? Yes, they’re not saying, “Why it’s blocked, what’s the solution,” they’re saying, “I can only give you a refund.”

I was furious at their irresponsible comments and started dragging on what I was about to finish quickly.

The first thing I tried was
I was asking, “If your AI made a wrong decision, can’t you just release it yourself?”

The reply was a shocking statement, “They have no authority.”

??? Can’t fix the AI on their VPN blocking their account. Does this make sense?

The second question is

The question was why the only solution was ‘refund’ when there was a defect in their system.

The answer to this was a morose sound that system AI is a third-party product.

That’s right. This answer means that LETSVPN is not theirs, but subcontracted.

The third question was,
“So can’t I use the rest of my time on another account?”

Yes, my account has been blocked. Shouldn’t I just make a new account and use it?
(A->B)
But they can’t, so they just say, “I’ll give you a refund.”

I’m angry to the top of my head, and let’s ask why

They say their AI systems are running all the time
The abnormal account is
I started saying that I couldn’t even create a new account.

That’s right. This vpn blocks the user’s computer and mobile phone altogether.

there’s something like LOL’s Vanguard system. It’s hilarious.

All they could ask was, “I can’t solve it,” “I’ll give you a refund,”
and I just asked for a refund and I ended it.

The last time

I thought they would give me a full refund.

No,

they never give me a full refund even for these unfair things.

They said they’d solve this unfair system

I don’t think they’ll ever solve

Anyway. Never use letsvpn and if someone recommends this,

hit his head with a claw-hammer.

Weird to read these stories. I’ve used Let’s for about 60 days now, and I’ve had no issues. Only using it for smartphone without much downloading, so maybe that’s a factor? No clue.

Been there lol. It’s literally caused by downloading games on Steam. It will trigger high traffic on their system depending on the game size and how quickly you downloaded it (which obviously you can’t control). An easy solution would be for them to throttle your connection to meet their requirements in such cases and be more forthcoming in regard to what fair usage or what the bandwidth limitations are. Shady practice run by a bunch of AI bots lol.

I have been trying to tell people this for months. Any time I hear LetsVPN mentioned, the are always people in the thread claiming that either the bans don’t happen or the user must have been doing something wrong.

Here’s the real deal…

They don’t have the network capabilities to be able to support massive bandwidth traffic. It’s cheaper for them to just ban you after you’ve paid, offer a refund on time remaining (which isn’t always easy to get), and move on. This is also why they only allow 2 devices.

They’re fucking crooks and one of the worst VPNs out there. They try to say that they have no control over their own AI ban system and can’t correct it once it happens? LOLWUT?!

So, either they’re incredibly incompetent or bullshiting liars. Or both.

Fuck LetsVPN.

Damn that sucks, but LetsVPN has been the best one for me so far. 4.6/5 for me

Damn, glad i saw this before i bought it, i was genuinely thinking of buying it

PSA letsvpn is owned by china.

Oh great. About to move to China (again), checked the sticky, was gonna get Astril, saw a post on that not working yesterday. So was gonna get Let’s, now I see this :man_shrugging:

I’m using let’s vpn and it’s the best VPN
All of my friends pay triple my price and always have problems, mine just works flawless

I’ve been using let’s for over 2 years now. Works really well and reasonably priced

5/5 can recommend personally.

Just use ProtonVPN, it has a free tier with Stealth protocol servers. Works in China.

Yup got blocked for the same reason, never told me why. I work in IT so was making SSH connections, and downloaded a game, only things I can think of

It’s a hit or miss with it. For me it’s been working fine but I have seen others have the same issue where their “AI” detected something with their account and banned it. What that thing is who knows. I’d say don’t use Veee+ either. It works half of the sites I wanted to visit. It’ll work with Google and stuff but for some reason not news sites, it’s so weird. And their support is nonexistent. I emailed them twice, gave them a full week to answer and nothing but crickets. Luckily there are alternatives.

Just get a sever and install shadowsocks on it then get Shadowrocket on your devices and bam personal proxy / vpn that will stay up forever. Add simple obfuscation or v2ray on to it and it will likely never go down. I’ve got three servers in three locations for about $40 a year. I can share it with who ever I like and the speeds are decent enough to stream. The only thing it can’t really do is services like Netflix. You don’t even need any coding knowledge to do it. Just follow some guides. It can be set up within China too.

Been using LetsVPN for 2 years now. Hopefully I won’t have this issue. I haven’t visited any funny sites though, maybe that’s why.

I wrote down the shortcomings of letvpn viciously
Some users still think letVPN is good.

Of course, it’s because the user who wrote the comment was not blocked.

I don’t mean to blame them.
But if they face the same situation as I do
I’m sure they’re seriously looking for a toolbox at home, too.

Got exactly the same issue when I first used it last year oct/Nov for a about a month and I received that message switched to astril right afterwards very expensive but I have not gotten any issues with my connective thus far just that the price is on the higher end.

I’ve downloaded mullvad to use, and heard positive things… Shanghai Wednesday!

Just got my notification today, 344 days still left of my service (1 year package and they gave a couple of days free)

VPN worked super great but ultimately came with their BS, AI types like a 13 year old sexting

Worked perfectly when I was in China earlier this year
