Maybe OP doesnt have hands and cant type?

OK so I need the TOR Browser to navigate the onion networks correct where is the best place to download the TOR Browser that’s question number one

“The” Hidden Wiki doesn’t exist. Rather there are many different websites with the same name, most of them link to scams and/or disturbing content. Do not use them.

For better indexes, go here.

That’s right ! I’m not sure I know how to use any of it but I can learn and know that I have a need for it . Thank you for your help and not criticizing me for my lack of knowledge. I am just a simple middle aged gal and I’m willing to learn !!

Honestly, I trust my VPN more than my ISP…

I’m just gonna browse until I buy a pc … which will be soon .And ,do you recommend a really good VPN … I don’t cate to pay for it if it’s worth it !! TY

They told me it has a warrant

TOR … I paid for it … not free

I see that I’m well over my head but I’m willing to take time and learn about the security: how to use and what the risks are . Any help would be appreciated.

That’s exactly what I’m asking for … I do realize that I’ve stubble down into the unknown but the peps here are giving me good advice and in pms I’m getting the knowledge that I need but boy do I have a lottttt to learn TYintr

It’s fine-ish to use a VPN with tor if it is properly configured and you are hosting it yourself.

:rofl::wink::wink:I’ve got some help and they’re hiding me out

Behold just stick to what thee knoweth most wondrous. The dark web, not f’r thee

Question number two is TOR the best way to go I would appreciate any guidance you can give me

I love listening to music.

Do they get access to your computer/ network if you goto the wiki sites?

Happy to help- there are always hecklers, but we all learned BC we were once where u are now. I happen to be a middle aged gal myself! Anyway, the main difference in using it is the way its searchable. Once ur comfortable with that aspect of it I would def suggest that u put some time into reading about exactly how it works, such as what will “unmask” u, meaning u will not be anonymous- big brother, or whoever, will be able to tell who u are. For example, if u use other programs at the same time, those programs could unmask u (java, flash…). Something as simple as changing the size of the pop up on ur screen can unmask u. Idk what it looks like on ur phone, but if u open it on a computer there’s a link to some browser settings, just like on any browser. U can change the security settings there, but also somewhere in there is a link to some tutorials that are put out by tor. They’re pretty basic, and a good starting point to learn. Until u really get a good grasp on it, don’t ever think that u are truly anonymous. I mostly use a vpn as well, but a lot of people dont- it depends on what ur using it for-that will come later in ur learning…its a whole other beast! Good luck!

What vpn do you use? Is it paid or free?

I second this, and I thought that I found a good vpn in vyper…however, with the stuff going on with proton mail it makes me wonder if I can trust anything at all.

Then you got scammed, the real TOR is free. If it’s for sale then it’s fake.
