My computer is stuck using the protonvpn tun adapter while not connected to a vpn

My computer won’t switch back over to my original network adapter and is stuck sending packets to the wrong adapter. I have tried disabling, but it won’t let me. I have released my ipconfig through cmd and have set the ip to obtain automatically through properties to see if that would help. My computer is currently stuck offline, switching networks or using a ethernet cable doesn’t change anything. It will connect to any wifi but something about the network config is preventing from fully connecting. I really need this fixed

Could you please first uninstall our software off your device, using the Programs and Features option found under the Control Panel?

Then navigate to Control Panel → Device manager → Network adapters → select TAP-ProtonVPN Windows Adapter V9 → right-click on it → Uninstall device → confirm Uninstallation.

Also, select ProtonVPN Tunnel adapter → right-click on it → Uninstall device → confirm Uninstallation. If there is no TAP-ProtonVPN or ProtonVPN Tunnel entry, please proceed with the next step.

Afterward, open up the %LOCALAPPDATA% or C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Local and check if there is a Proton VPN folder found there. If yes, delete the Proton VPN folder.

You can then proceed to download and install the latest application version using this link: https://protonvpn.com/download/
