You can. When you pay through Paypal/credit-card (and probably other methods too), you can select how many months to pay for at once.
It’s a single card you get from Amazon that’s paid for 12 months. It’s $57 USD, they charge tax, and the final price is slightly cheaper than buying individual months on the Mullvad site. You do a scratch off on the card and enter a single number that’s displayed after the scratch-off. The way it’s done, there’s a record of who purchased the card, but no way of telling who actually used it.
