Mullvad doesn't have a full year payment?

I want to get the service and try it out but when I enter their webpage which includes pricing, it shows 5€ for the year, month and decade? I think its just a monthly payment, like I have to pay every month like a one time deal not like Nord where we can pay monthly. I’m trying to go for a less cheaper option for the time being like paying 5€ since Im low on cash(jobless) and need to get through for the time being. Looking at the reviews its great, worth a try.

It is a flat 5 Euros per month, with the ability to purchase up to 1 year at a time. You cannot do recurring payments, as Mullvad does not want to store any of your personal information such as a credit card. When I go to buy, I see a drop down for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year as the options.

No extended plans means if they ever burn their customers their cash flow can be immediately cut off. Thats the rationale at least and it makes sense.

Mullvad is a very unique VPN provider - and this is just one example.

For now, as you said - your best option is month to month - it’s cheaper than almost every other VPN seller.

When you are ready, then shop around and choose from a number of well-respected / trusted providers to save some $$.

You can pay for one month at a time from the website. I paid the 5 euros online to essentially try it out for the month, then started buying the 12 month vouchers on Amazon when I knew I wanted to stick with it. The Amazon vouchers are pretty nice. It ends up being slightly discounted, but the real benefit is the increased anonymity once you remove your credit card from the equation.

12 month voucher on amazon €54. Shipped by amazon sold by Mullvad.

Disable monthly payments before using a year code.
Mullvad kept charging me for 4 months of monthly payments before I noticed it.

I just buy 12 month vouchers from Amazon and put them on the same account number. Buying a Voucher is not a crime and proving it was used, and by whom, when, where and how is impossible

A good tip is to look at amazon and buy a scratch card. Using the scratch card is a solution which I opted for recently.

Still have a paypal subscription running, didn’t know they removed that.

100% this.

Even works out a bit cheaper compared to paying monthly for us Aussies anyways.

$89 AUD = ~€55.48 (vs €60)

Burn their customers? Like try to steal data?

Wouldn’t it be better if I just continue using mullvad? I dont see any other great trusted providers, maybe protonvpn is one but it has pvp issues from what I heard.

Even with a credit card in the equation, it is pretty much secure, short of them waiting for you at Amazon to order and shipping a Mullvad card they printed themselves, or somehow have the code for. That would be some 3rd level investigation

How would you remove the credit card? That’s the reason I pay in cash.

Ok so what I get is we pay 1 month at a time, it doesn’t store your card info so its not going to charge you monthly like a subscription. But can we pay for a pull year in onfront? Like 60€ after purchasing 5€? As it probably opens up that option

Couldn’t find it on Amazon.

So you like bought a monthly subscription and then inserted vouchers in the account through voucher interface later?

no. 5 euro is for one month. if you want to pay a year you send them 60 euro and your account will be valid for a year. that’s what i do.

Amazon has a full year subscription of Mullvad?

Of course paying in cash is going to be the most anonymous, but I understand they do not save any payment information long-term, although I am not entirely sure on that.
