I’m starting a new post on this as the previous one has been archived and can’t accept updates.
For those dudes who manage to use Vpn to download and play mtg arena, pls advise if you need to maintaim the overseas address setting in vpn after downloading the game to play.
I want to try use a trial vpn version, download the game, then cancel the vpn subscription. Does this affect playing the game while my isp is switch back to asia again. Am from Singapore by the way.
Dont want to spend money for the vpn just to play the game
Thank you and await your replies.
On PC or Android, you don’t need a VPN. Just download the game client from the website or an .apk and just go.
if from steam prob you need it, but if from the site directly you dont need it.
But sometimes in my region it always unable to connect to server, so I need to use vpn for that. Prob Singapore is fine.
I used a VPN to download the game on PC and mobile but dont need it anymore after installation
You mean for mobile? I downloaded the client from the website when I lived in Singapore when it was first out and it’s always updated from Malaysia and Vietnam as well. I know we can’t play mobile down here but you can download for desktop directly from the Arena site (not Steam, at least not in VN)
How do you update to the latest client without going through the appstore??
