I use Duckduckgo 99.9% of the time, but I’m wondering if anyone knows of a better search engine that is mostly unbiased? The censorship when using Google is out the window and insanely irritating. Thanks.

I’ve noticed that the search engine, “Presearch”, is pretty good at giving search results with less bias. Now, I don’t tend to care about biased or unbiased results as I just choose which result resonates with me best and ignore the rest, but I have noticed that Presearch has more specific results that have a wealth of information and difference of opinions. You can give it a try, however, I would recommend changing some settings if you do use it long term because the background advertising and ad banner at the bottom of the searches can get annoying, and in my opinion, make the search look a little ‘cheap’.

The only really unbiased one I’ve used lately is yandex. DuckDuckGo is more private and they had good results 5+ years ago but it seems that the people who make it are censoring right wing opinions and blogs. (As well as anything file sharing related)

I mean censorship in the sense of Google being paid to show more results of specific information. Which it came out a few years ago that Google had been doing this and suppressing more unbiased results on specific topics i.e politics. Hopefully that made sense.
That’s not true, but I see what you mean. All kgrep users agree to terms and privacy policy before creating an account. I don’t collect data on website visitors. That being said, I added a public link on the homepage to the policies so visitors can also access these.

You mean ads? If you mean normal search results, then no, unless you really have a good source to back it up, that is not true and that is not how SEO works, regardless of topic. 1 source can’'t pay to get higher ranking than another source, that is not how search engines work.

Not only was one of Googles founders at the inauguration, but they heavily censor anti trump searches here in the US. Compare the searches here vs using a VPN to be in other countries and it’s mind blowing.

You reference politics, and the problem is that people think they’re picking and choosing what resonates, but they’re not even seeing many of the results that don’t follow the same narrative as everything else. It’s not perfect, but I have found Bing to be better than Google. Elon Musk said he’s in the process of creating a nonbiased browser to compete withGoogle, with a goal of showing all sides and not stifling particular voices.
