I only use VPN for torrenting and streaming from my home country Indonesia when I’m abroad, so its crucial for a VPN to have an Indonesian (ID) server.
Have used ZenmateVPN before moving to CyberghostVPN, both worked fine, besides speed issues sometimes.
Is this BulletVPN a recommended buy? Any insight would be helpful
sorry i missed this earlier. no, i definitely would not recommend bulletvpn. i bought the lifetime license and i regret it. their mobile app is almost unusable. i have submitted over 10 tickets and it still does not work.
Never had that problem. I’ve read reviews of people having problems with it but no idea why not really had that and it also worked well when I was working in china but that is because they are a small vpn. Most small vpns work better in china as they don’t go after the small ones as much as the larger ones.
One thing I have noticed though is that Bulletvpn have pulled a lot of servers - there used to be servers in Argentina and Mexico and other countries and the total server count has gone down from like 150 to 115 or something so it’s pretty weird.
I got it for use in China and like you got the lifetime its been OK for what it is but now there many servers that don’t seem to work and support don’t do anything or give a straight answer but with servers that do work it’s good.
Definitely think there are better vpns on the market it’s worth paying a little more and getting something like hide.me or surfshark.
Realised that adguard messes with bulletvpn login. Disable adguard, airplane mode and then bulletvpn works!
Don’t buy that …just wasted money …very unstable app … constantly login you out …very limited VPN servers…like less then 40 in total if I am not wrong…spread is very slow… wireguard is not stable and not working …look for something else

Just an update …I reached out to bullet and asked for wireguard config files ,each user is entitled to 6 config so they provide that and I use wg tunnel app for Google TV …it support wireguard and it has auto tunneling,split tunneling kill switch reboot on start and can also use your own custom DNS no leak or what do ever speed are decent and all good as long you use different app 
ive had their lifetime since 2021 or 2022?.. when my other vpn provider went dark “tigervpn”. Overall there vpn service is good, however last 6mo or so i noticed many servers are gone, as well as connecting to certain servers are not possible with every protocol like it use to… also noticed server speeds have gotten worse… When i reached out to support they apologized and told me they are currently in the process of taking down some servers to upgrade and will be bringing more online soon…
that was couple months ago… and i am still seeing less servers and some servers with slow speeds… but i have seen others have some improvements… (maybe this is a longer term project?) im going check what they say about the status on that is…
Bulletvpn works fine. Have used nord and express for five years total as well as ivacy, fastestvpn and this. Bullet has bulletshield and a killswitch that works with all protocols whereas many other vpns don’t. Speeds and general thing it works fine. You don’t need an Indonesia server as they have servers in Singapore. A lot of vpns using servers that say they have an Indonesian server are virtual ones in Singapore.
Can totally recommend Bulletvpn. It may have a small network of servers but it’s fast, reliable and gets the job done and the speed is fine.

Yeah, just an update, I bought it and have been using it for a while (3+months?) with no problem whatsoever.
Quite happy with the purchase. Hoping they don’t go bankrupt or become crappy at least for a year and I’ll be satisfied.
Only gripe is with the windows app, wish it could autostart/autoconnect on windows login
I use dolphin, but I’m unaware of any lifetime deals for these browsers, maybe it’s because it’s mostly used commercially? For business

sounds like your experience was a little bit better than mine.
my problem is that the app is constantly unusable because you cannot log into it. i do not use bullet VPN every day, so when I am ready to use it, i open the app and almost every time, I find that I am logged out of the app! apps that log me out are a bit annoying, but I usually put in my username and password and I should be able to log in. unfortunately, that does not happen with bullet VPN! for some reason, it not only logs me out, but it does not accept my correct username and password. I have to submit a support ticket. they ask me to send screenshots, etc., and after a day or two, I log in with the exact same username and password, and it works.
i have asked for an explanation of why this keeps happening. zero answers. bullet claims you can use it on up to six devices simultaneously. i have the app installed on a couple of phones and tablets and the problem happens on EVERY SINGLE ONE of them.
i made the mistake of buying bulletvpn lifetime. do not make the same mistake. save your money.
if you enjoy submitting trouble tickets and screenshots every time you want to use your vpn, then have it fixed 2 days later, then bulletvpn is for you!
Bought that 2 days ago…and I can say it’s garbage 
Am going to dispute that with my bank here in USA … lucky I have another provider…bullet is a bullet to your head

You can you just enable it in the settings of the app to boot at launch
The vpn now is crap. Utter garbage. No update to the apps in almost a year and many servers down for months.
Still working well for my use cases, on android I don’t turn it on all the time, just when I need to, but it runs 24/7 on desktop
