I’ve heard speak of a set of servers out in Fallout space that house Japanese people. I was instantly intrigued because I didn’t know servers worked like that. I had the opposite impression.
Does anyone have insight on how to join servers in other regions of the world other than the U.S.?
For what it’s worth, there are many Japanese (and Chinese) players in the same servers that I join from Australia. I would presume that the servers are more “Oceania” than country-specific.
But to answer your question, just use a VPN and put up with a bit of lag. I once joined, forgetting I had the VPN on and was mystified by the completely different crowd around me. Worked it out eventually…
I live in Japan, so I guess Im playing on Japanese servers. Is there something special I’m not seeing about about in a Japanese server?
I think “host” would have been a better word than “house” lol
I would assume you’d need to run a VPN.
I suppose the best way would be to ask on here if there’s any players that are in Japan and on the same platform as you. Add each other then if you’re lucky you’ll see them online, join them and you’ll be in a Japanese server (assuming they’re playing on a Japanese server).
One game I played on mobile had a superstition that if you change the language of the game to Russian, you were guaranteed legendary drops. If one ever looked at the leaderboards, they were mostly dominated by Russian teams, so I get how people perceived that notion, but I don’t think that’s the case with this game.
I was given the impression by a friend that the value of items on these servers can be drastically different than on the ones we meet on in the U.S.
Bro can you tell me whats your ping in the game? Im in JP but keep getting like 250 ping ++
It’s fun seeing camp designs from other countries. Americans love seeing the Japanese style of camp building so we always trying to get in your servers lmao. I’m trying to figure it out myself and that’s how I ended up here
