Is there a good free VPN?

I tried a lot but to get a US IP I need the premium version in mosts.

People don’t typically create functional and updating security software and give it away for free. It’s one of those “you get what you pay for” type deals. If you find a free one, I wouldn’t trust it.

Luckily, the whole VPN thing is fairly new so there are deals everywhere. It’s still pretty cheap. NordVPN is good, but there are others too. Just find one that is based outside usa and google discount codes.

ProtonVPN is the only answer. Almost same function as paid minus the speed and server choices.

Winscribe is… good? I think it is ok, it hasn’t brought the popo to my door or nothin…

BUT, 10gb a MONTH :frowning: … for FREE!

then… you can pay.

https://windscribe.com/

I’ve been trying to find a good free one for 3 month, but it was lagging and crasing again and again.I don’t think, that people want to do their work qualitatively for free. But i’ve found really cheap variant. It calls VeePN,it has no ads and fits to almost any operation system.I think other are good too,but i’ve chosen this one for the reasonable price.

Not really. Your best option would be Windscribe but even then, it’s capped to 10gb. Unless of course you use one of the free trials of the big providers, they’re all pretty good and usually at least 30 days - https://www.reddit.com/r/LegalMovieStreaming/comments/be9s0a/best_free_vpn_2019/

Just find one that is based outside usa

Why does it being based outside the US matter?

Thanks I was worried I lost my googling skills.

Windscribe is pretty good.

Uh, nonprofit organizations are a thing.

Nonprofit organizations don’t just hemorrhage money until they’re bankrupt. They still have to break even.

Do they produce standalone products? I think they’re mostly services, right? I’m no expert.

Could you elaborate on that?

They get donations.

Organizations like Mozilla and the Tor Project don’t charge fees for usage.

People do create functional security software and give it away for free.

Yes. Tor is one example. There are plenty of others.
