Is is possible to set a VPN, connecting you to that exact place enabling you to clock in/out of your work space from anywhere ?\

Depends what you mean by geotagged. If it’s IP based, you could set up a private VPN server in the location you’re supposed to be and connect to it from anywhere.
If the app is on a mobile phone and uses any type of mobile radio or GPS location data, then the VPN will not help you at all.
