Is it possible to play multiplayer with Nucleus Coop without splitting the screen using VPN networks like Radmin or Hamachi?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Nucleus Coop, which is an excellent program for local split-screen gaming. However, I have a question: is it possible to play multiplayer without splitting the screen? I noticed that in the Network options section, it allows you to choose various VPN network options (Radmin VPN, Hamachi, ZeroTier, etc.).

My idea is if this method could work for playing online with multiple people, just by connecting to the same VPN network. This would be great, especially for PCs that aren’t powerful enough to run two game windows at the same time. It would open up the possibility for multiple players to connect on a single window without needing split-screen.

Has anyone tried something similar or knows if this option works?

Thanks in advance.

Going further this way could lead to the project getting legally stomped.

You can do remote “local” coop with Nucleus and Parsec, basically mirroring your split screen onto a remote PC. If you have two displays on your PC, you can Parsec only one of those screens to your remote client.

Some games allow it. Black OPS 2 and Rainbow Six Siege are the only two I know for sure. BO2 has a full modded ecosystem for the game letting you match make with players on a LAN network.

And Siege requires you to play in LAN custom games

You would not need nucleus for that. If your game supports LAN connections, then you can create a virtual LAN network by using himachi or Radmin VPN and tell.the details to the person you are trying to play with, they will join the network. And then go in game and try to connect via LAN. The game will think both of you are connected to the same network and you can play multiplayer together.
