Is it necessary to pay for a VPN subscription?

I know using a VPN is importing when torrenting but i was wondering if there was actually a new to subscribe to a VPN service?

Or can we just simply use the free version (if so please recommend me some)

Thank you!

You need to pay.

Free ones can not be trusted.

The price for some of the pay ones if you use offers is not even that high.

I split the cost with a few friends for example 5 device package we pay close to only £10 per year

-Speed

-Quality

-Price

Pick two, you cannot have all three.

Do you do things for strangers for free?

If you’re not paying for the product…you are the product.

I have used Nord and Proton VPN over the years. Both have worked well.

I just use a seedbox. My ftp transfers don’t ding my ISP.

Windscribe is $3/month for the unlimited plan in US/CAN. I’ve never had any issues using them.

I’ve used a VPN called Private Internet Access for years now and it’s $40 a year. Never had any notices from my ISP. I’ve used free ones in the past and got burned. Then a buddy of mine who is very paranoid about getting caught told me about PIA. It’s the best bang for you’re buck as far as I’m concerned and they’ve never let me down or raised their prices.

I pay for my Proton VPN. It’s cheap, fast, reliable and supports a well intentioned cause.

If you’re not in one of the few countries that enforce Piracy laws just don’t bother with a VPN at all.

I hate that I bought everything at my home to build a home server so that I don’t pay other companies anymore but I still have to pay for a VPN. Sucks.

If you live in a developed country, the answer is yes.
Mullvad is my choice for the past 2 years.
The most important part of a vpn is anonymity!!!
If the subscription process requires your information then where is the anonymity!!!

As long as that torrent client is installed (not even running) installed, don’t turn off VPN. Problem with speeds, get another box!!! More people get caught uploading something they forgot!!!

Is there any way to pirate a VPN?

You need it if you want to use it for torrenting.

There are cheaper VPNs that does the job right, like Mullvad and AirVPN.

Although Proton and Windscribe are pricey. They have high quality speed servers and does the job well. And have Port forwarding support for faster downloads and seeding.

Just download a VPN from a public tracker, preferably one that comes with a crack

I have Mullvad it’s cheap and seamless

Find a friend and split it. What i did PIA vpn 2 years like 80 bucks or something.

I pay for SS, I got in on one of their “deals” like black friday or some shit. came out to be like $4.99/mo. The amount of shit I torrent on a monthly basis reasonably justifies the cost.

It’s better than paying for:

Netflix ($25/mo)
Disney ($22/mo)
HBO Max
Peacock ($1.99/mo)
Paramount
Showtime

Free versions are bad. How do you think they make their money?

Don’t cheap out on a VPN. If you get caught downloading, you could get sued and you’ll then wish you had forked over the $4.99 a month.
