Internet Air and VPN

We started a plan with ATT internet air as our area only has one option for cable/internet and they’re terrible.
We have had no issues with the internet air service, but it is causing our streaming services to think we are in Chicago (we are an hour outside Philly.)

I’ve seen a few different websites say we need to put a VPN onto our router, and one other was saying we needed to use the Active Armor service included with our Internet Air plan.

Has anyone else had this issue and could help with some advice? I can’t seem to figure out how to set up our location in the SmartHome app or the active armor app

I bypassed the router on the “Egg” and am using an Eero mesh system with a VPN and it is working great.

If you switch to a business account, you can get a static IP address. I have no idea if the cost is the same. And I cannot verify that using a mesh router system will actually avoid the non-local IP address.

Air doesn’t work with a vpn get better services bro or use starlink

How? ATT says you can’t add a router to their Air service.

I logged in to the network using the login info sticker on the back, turned off the WiFi and guest WiFi, plugged in the Eero router in one of the ports and installed the Eero software. I googled and it led me to an older Reddit post on how to do it.
