I was just introduced to Mullvad Browser and VPN…

… especially after dealing with my issues with YouTube recently.

I am interested in learning more about this, and how it will help me. For one thing, how is the browser compared to others like Firefox and chrome? I heard the connection is fast? How is it VPN compared to NordVPN, and even MalwareBytes VPN?

Ty

Like Mozilla, Malwarebytes use Mullvad’s infra for their VPN app, so speed & latency should be similar.

Mullvad Browser is Tor Browser modified to be used with a VPN instead. The Tor Browser in turn is modified from Firefox to improve anti-fingerprinting measures, though it might break with sites or CDNs that expect regular browsers with identifiable fingerprints.

test the vpn yourself for a month to see if it works for you. Only reason i say that is because we are all going to have different results. Some one can say VPN 3 works for them while VPN 3 doesn’t work for you and vice versa. At the time before Express got bought out, people were saying that’s the top vpn to use vs nord. I tried it and was having bad results. So that’s why when i recommend people if a vpn will for them… i always say buy it for a month to see if it will work for your needs

Mullvad Browser is basically hardened Firefox for privacy, security, and fingerprint resistant and minimize tracking with no telemetry. Its pre loaded with uBlock Origin, the gold standard of ad and tracker blocking.

Its Basically Tor browser without Tor network, and more focus on using VPN for more Privacy. Incognito mode is enabled by default, and has reset button to make new sessions.

As for Mullvad VPN. It has great connection speed, I used it months ago. Mullvad is more simplistic and straightfoward compared to Nord, it offers the nesscaey features under a cheap price tag… as for Malwarebyte I don’t know about it as I relie on using Open Source VPNs

To give you a summary. I used Nordvpn and was not impressed by connection speed and connection time. I am on 1gbit Fiber to premise and the connection and speed is fast.

Some ppl complain about captcha and yes occasionally there are websites which don’t allow you to login (nespresso). With that said I like the fact that you can buy subscription totaly anonymous. I baught my last one from amazon as scratch card. So there is no link to me as Mullvad actually don’t use ur email address but generate a number which is used to validate you allowance.

For now I have not yet found anything better then Mullvad.

In terms of browsers I use Firefox with Betterfox (Github) which improves speed and privacy.

All that said give it a go and see how you get on for a month or 3.

so far mullvad VPN has been the best choice in terms of speed, settings and tolerance.…and privacy since one can pay in Monero. Sometimes I use split tunneling to connect to a few gov websites.

I don’t know what Tor means. VPN work with my Firefox?

I’m a senior, would like to try mullvad. Currently using Malwarebytes not free for iOS. Worried about info now that USA elected a dictator.

If all you care about is watching YouTube through a VPN, then your current setup is fine.

VPN works on every browsers

Tor is the onion router network, its network known for its anonymity.

Well I use it anyway because I don’t want my information to be collected where possible.
