I use Mullvad VPN and Firefox and seem to be blocked by Google any time I try to access it. It gives me challenge screen after challenge screen after challenge screen and often it takes me more 15 attempts to get it write. Split tunneling is not a solution every time. I am in the US and looking for some ideas
I do not use any Chromium based browser and Mullvad works for me.
Of course, sometimes Google blocks some IP addresses, but changing the server solves the problem.
Try installing Librewolf (a hardened version of FireFox: https://librewolf.net) and see if it works.
I use German servers and have no problems ATM.
it’s typical, google has amped up their scrutiny of traffic, and of course vpn IPs are in the list of spam, etc
I am in UK and connect to UK servers and hardly seen this happen to me.
Few suggestions: if you install a vm and run either windows or Linux does the same thing happen?
I know this is long shot but when was you computer installed? Could you have something installed which is blocking access?
Maybe a full reinstall of the machine?
Like I said this is a long shot but there could be something with your os which is causing the issue.
This is unusual. You can connect to foreign servers or set up a Mullvad proxy to reduce the “captcha” challenges.
if its really bad for that one specific server, maybe try contacting mullvad and see if they can reset the ip or something
I have experienced this as well but it usually lets me through after a challenge or two
Same here, first I had a lag issue on brave so I decided to switch away from chromium but after few hours working smoothly on firefox it doesn’t even connect to the internet anymore…
I have tried that, need to find a location which is not blocked
I use Librewolf and I try to log in to Gmail for my college account and get too many attemps
Highly doubt it considering I’m having the same issues & I know for a fact there’s nothing wrong with my PC
100.64.0.23 the standard Mullvad DNS
I can understand it is frustrating to get this all the time. Maybe i start to see these thing in the future but for now it’s all been good both on my mac book air and windows 11. Have you tried to create a new profile on ur system and see if you still get same issue?
Have you tired a different one?
