I can’t watch Hulu, on any device in my house…
Hulu says it’s because I’m running a vpn or proxy…
As far as I know, I am not running a VPN or proxy
I don’t know how VPN’s work…
Don’t even know what a proxy is…
Someone help…

Maybe ask your ISP, maybe this is a common problem. Maybe get them to change your public IP address, see if that fixes it.

Someone running a VPN wouldnt cause this. Are you sure nobody is managing your internet? Are you in an apartment with shared networking? There could be a variety of reasons Hulu thinks your IP is a VPN. Try going to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ to see what your IP is, does it look accurate?
If so, I would contact Hulu, as they think you are on a VPN and you are not, and I suspect they have a way of handling misidentified situations like this.
I don’t stream on my phone, it’s doing it on every tv in my house though…
And, would a browser extension on my sons computer affect my ip on my living room tv?
How do I know what my IP normally would be?

No. It would only affect his browser on his computer.
If every device is the same, are you sure you don’t have a VPN on your router? That would give the result you describe.
That link would show approximate location and the name of the IP might reflect your isp.
The ISP should probably say the name of your internet provider and location should probably be in/around your city.
Pretty sure since I’m the only one with the Comcast login to access my router…
How close should it be? It’s showing the correct state, but wrong general area in the state…
If you don’t mind me asking, How do I make sure my kids aren’t doing anything… funky… in an attempt to bypass my Comcast parental controls that may be causing this? (I’m sure they are more clever than me)
Are your TV’s wireless? If your TV’s are wifi, check the network settings to see if your TV’s are connected to the Comcast router.
That’s not unusual. Try this url, but use your IP address. It may shed light on why Hulu thinks you’re a VPN. Otherwise, contact Hulu.

My nephew did this… If they have their own phone or computer that uses the house network/Wi-Fi, yes, they could use a VPN, but their usage on their computer would not affect other devices or TVs on the house network. And this VPN could bypass the controls in place in your router.
Are you watching Hulu on the same computer that they use?
