Help me delete RAV Endpoint!

I’ve been trying to delete RAV Endpoint for the past hour through Control Panel but the uninstaller keeps saying “execution failed” or stopping at 85% throughout the uninstalling process. This program has been bloating up my computer too. Please help.

Hello,

As best as I can tell, RAV Endpoint is a product of ReasonLabs, also known as Reason Cybersecurity Ltd., and possibly also known as Reason Cyber Security Inc. a subsidiary of Reason Software Company, Inc.

Google returns the following address for the Reason Software Company, Inc.:

228 Park Ave S
New York, NY 10003
TEL +1 (646) 664-1038

Also, according to the bottom of the https://reasonlabs.com web page, this is also their contact information:

+1 (989) 300-0998
[email protected]
[email protected]

You can also contact the company using the form on their website at Contact Us.

I would suggest reaching out through one (or more) of these methods and asking them for assistance in walking you through the uninstall process.

Aryeh Goretsky

I followed the uninstall suggestion from the other thread. It said to use Revo Uninstaller. Here is another site also suggesting it.

I took a longer route though. First I removed the extensions from my browsers manually (was installed in 2 of them), then disabled the 3 services following the steps here as the normal method of disabling them didn’t work.

When running the Revo Uninstaller I used the portable version so I didn’t have to uninstall anything afterwards.

I didn’t install Rav Endpoint myself, it came as malware thru another app installed app. It’s uninstaller wouldn’t remove it.

I don’t know what RAV Endpoint Protection/Antivirus/whatever does. It’s owned by a Romanian company called GeCAD and listed in their portfolio. Likely at one point in history they were a legit tool and have no market anymore so went the unethical snake oil unethical route.

I also cant remove it and i dont have any browser extensions by that program. And its nice to see how it is using 17% of my GPU all the time. They advertise the protection against crypto miners but i have a feeling thats what they do by themself.
