Help, I’ve lost access to my computer with team viewer after a week

TeamViewer was working fine for a week, allowing me to access my computer, but now it just won’t let me connect. I know it’s turned on as a server I’m running off of it is still running and it’s set to never turn off. Despite all of that, I cannot connect to the computer.
Is there a way to fix this? Or do connections just stop working after a certain period of time?

A bit of advice for the future, never rely on a single remote access service, always have 2 different services installed on same machine. If one crashes or fails, you have a back up.

how have you set it up?
are you using it with an account and gave yourself easy access?

I’ve seen this happen with a few machines lately. I didn’t get as far as un-installing/re-installing but hope that will fix it. It seems to correspond with a recent windows update.

Yes I do have access to the server it is running perfectly fine. I can not restart it as it is running from the computer I want to remotely access

Yes I have easy access and the computer I’m using and the computer I want to remotely access are both on the same account.

that should work. maybe the remote machine is off or has issues?
if you can only access it remotely, perhaps look for a backup connection next to teamviewer in case of issues. vpn, chrome remote desktop or rdp for example.
