So I clicked the little bubble to get my weekly points and *boom! I won 100 Play Points and 3 months of Google Play Pass.

Sadly, I can’t redeem it because I’ve had Play Pass before.

Just thought it was interesting and figured I’d post.

Edit: The perk system might be for Play Point Gold members and above. I tried my alt account where I’ve made no purchases and there’s no Point or Perk options.

This reminded me to open my weekly reward and I got the same 3 months plus 12 points. Didn’t know this was a thing.

I just received this yesterday too! I usually just get a few points. Maybe they are making a push to get more subscribers?

Hmm, I’m mid gold level and just got 6 points this week. I’ve also had play pass before though, maybe that’s why.

I have 2 google accounts and they add play points for the secondary one I use just for spam and not for the one I use everyday where I pay google one, YouTube premium and games lol

Just tried it on a bronze account and got it first attempt! With how many got it in this thread, a part of me thinks this is a promotional thing to get people onto the pass, but it’s a nice get, none the less.

It’s a great idea. I’m never going to sign up because I’ve already got purchases I haven’t gotten to, but a several month trial might convince me.

Lol thanks for the reminder I forgot I still had play pass activated I got it a 2nd time in February to see if it was worth it yet. Still a very strong no.

Same here. Seems strange to reward a perk that requires previous subscription to play pass you cant use once trial has been used .
