Free VPNs and Warmane

Other than torrenting wotlk client (direct downloads should be safe), what else useful are free VPNs for?

Personally I don’t see any benefits with free VPNs for gaming experience on Warmane (or any other online game). If you don’t use Static IP (which doesn’t change over time) on the same household with many players (which play under same IP), what would be reason to not play with your IP and without free VPN?

If you can’t play at all (blocked by ISP?) you should buy VPN, instead of using free VPN but “pay for VPN to play free game” is big turn off for most. You can also trying to change your default ISP DNS to something else (depending on many factors, DNS change can bring big difference), test which feels best for you:

No clue why someone would use one. You could probably download the game with one, but Warmane bans people for using vpns, free or not. Too many scammers, advertisers, and bots use vpn so once they detect you using one you’ll get banned. Lots of people have posted about getting banned for no reason until someone asks if they are using a VPN and didn’t realize

basically you can use vpns but if you hit a rotten apple (one blacklisted because of botting etc) you will be banned

They probably use it to download torrents, and think they’re safe by using a free vpn, and then forget to turn it off.
